Hua Shan Restaurant in China
In the heart of China, at the top of a mountain in Shanxi, sits the “Hua Shan” restaurant, a place known for both its breathtaking location and its difficult accessibility. The main feature of this gastronomic gem is its exceptional position high up on the mountain, making it one of the most adventurous dining destinations in the world.
The journey there is not for the faint-hearted; in fact, only the most adventurous of visitors choose to tackle the challenging route and then take a look at the menus. Although part of the journey can be made more comfortably by cable car, this is only the beginning of the adventure.
From a certain point, the rest of the way to the restaurant can only be covered on foot. It leads over narrow wooden walkways that have been cleverly built over deep ravines, with a sturdy metal chain to hold on to.

This mountain not only attracts pilgrims, but also lovers of extreme recreation, as the trail, full of risks and challenges, is one of the most demanding routes in the world.
